Description

  • Manage, coach, and support Clinical Study Operations team members, including onboarding, hiring, and performance management.
  • Oversee study execution from feasibility and site start-up through recruitment, enrollment, monitoring, data collection, and close-out.
  • Set team expectations, resolve complex operational issues, and escalate risks and blockers to leadership with clear options and tradeoffs.
  • Own ClinOps KPIs and goals, track progress in Asana, and report performance to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Lead process standardization, tooling, dashboard, reporting, and other domain-level ClinOps initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve ClinOps SOPs, work instructions, CTMS practices, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Represent ClinOps in business development discussions, feasibility assessments, Investigator Meetings, SOW input, and study planning.
  • Manage sponsor and CRO relationships and represent Beacon in escalated sponsor decisions.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Life Science, and BD to keep trials compliant and on track.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of clinical trial operations experience in biotech, medtech, or pharma; device-based trial experience is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a clinical or scientific field.
  • 1–2+ years of direct people-management experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Experience owning the clinical trial lifecycle, including start-up, recruitment, enrollment, monitoring, data cleaning, and close-out.
  • Working knowledge of GCP, FDA and global regulatory requirements, SOP development, and QMS practices such as Qualio.
  • Experience working with CROs and vendors, including selection support, oversight, and relationship management.
  • Ability to learn proprietary CTMS/eTMF tools and operate effectively in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder-alignment skills.
  • Comfort working asynchronously across time zones in a distributed, remote-first organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% for Investigator Meetings, sponsor engagements, and site visits.

  • $115,000–$135,000 salary range, adjusted for experience, skills, and location.
  • Equity compensation as part of the total compensation package.
