Description

  • Own end-to-end quality and delivery for assigned Human Data projects.
  • Lead, coach, and performance-manage full-time AI Tutors and contractors.
  • Personally perform labeling and review work while modeling best practices.
  • Maintain guideline adherence, taxonomy management, and quality assurance processes.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, implement improvements, and track KPIs including quality, throughput, and send-back rates.
  • Create and deliver training materials, practice tasks, and certification benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with Human Data Managers, Team Leads, and Engineering to translate model needs into labeling strategies.
  • Document results and report project status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Represent tutor needs and foster collaboration across the Human Data organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering field.
  • 2+ years of professional engineering experience in design, analysis, testing, R&D, or systems integration, or a master’s degree or higher in engineering.
  • Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, and the impact of training data quality on model performance.
  • Advanced engineering degree or professional licensure such as PE or FE/EIT (preferred).
  • Experience with data quality metrics, annotation processes, and guideline-driven workflows (preferred).
  • Experience with coaching, performance management, training programs, certification frameworks, or team leadership (preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience in data labeling, annotation, AI training/evaluation, content quality, or similar operations (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, use data and KPIs for improvement, and work with distributed or mixed employment teams.
  • Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Specialty or strong domain expertise in Finance, STEM, Coding/Software Engineering, or another technical field; candidates must be based in an eligible SpaceXAI country.
