Description

  • Partner with client teams to develop strategic recommendations rooted in data and audience insights that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed strategic rigor into internal workstreams, deliverables, and client engagements.
  • Maintain and communicate a clear point-of-view on macro trends, platform changes, and consumer behavior that impact media strategy.
  • Develop strategic resources, best practices, programs, and methodologies to elevate strategic thinking across the Media Consulting & Activation organization.
  • Support new business by crafting strategic narratives and insight-driven recommendations for pitches and proposals.
  • Monitor emerging industry trends, platform updates, and technological advancements to inform strategy and client recommendations.
  • Contribute to internal and external thought leadership through articles, reports, and presentations.
  • Identify and propose ways to evolve strategy using new tools, methodologies, and approaches, and challenge conventions when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, communications planning, or closely related functions bridging marketing, media, and consumer insight.
  • Proven track record of original strategic thinking and successful new business conversion across varied client sizes and categories.
  • Experience influencing and partnering with senior-level clients and becoming embedded as a consultant in their business.
  • Experience developing strategy for both digital and traditional media, with understanding of how channels complement one another.
  • Strong business acumen and persuasive written and verbal presentation skills to communicate at all client levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner with multi-functional teams to guide high-quality work and outcomes.
  • Willingness to actively contribute to company culture and support inclusive, respectful environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
  • Preferred: mentorship and oversight of strategic talent.
  • Preferred: familiarity leveraging CRM, first-party, and commerce data for audience insight and targeting.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
