Description

  • Research, design, and build production-grade generative AI and intelligent automation solutions using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
  • Lead full-cycle development from data preparation and model fine-tuning through evaluation, optimization, containerization, and secure cloud deployment.
  • Implement MLOps and LLMOps pipelines for automated testing, monitoring, and rollback.
  • Apply responsible AI practices and compliance standards such as NIST RMF and FedRAMP across solution delivery.
  • Translate business and mission requirements into technical designs and iterate quickly with stakeholders on prototypes.
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to deliver AI solutions.
  • Contribute to Azumo’s innovation roadmap by identifying research topics and publishing insights.
  • Help advance the company’s AI software development services portfolio.
  • Work across the full lifecycle of generative AI development, from ideation to scaling and monitoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and deploying ML, NLP, or generative AI systems.
  • Expert-level Python skills and strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, testing, CI/CD, Git, and containers.
  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph, and vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, and Azure AI Search.
  • Proven cloud deployment experience, with Azure preferred and AWS acceptable.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure as code tools such as GitHub Actions, Terraform/Bicep, and Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Professional English proficiency at B2/C1 level.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks relevant to AI software development services, such as NIST and FedRAMP, is preferred.
  • Contributions to research papers, open-source libraries, or AI communities are preferred.
