Description

  • Write clean, performant, and maintainable web application code.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineers, including junior team members.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, product managers, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews while maintaining coding standards and quality.
  • Identify and implement refactoring, optimization, and scalability improvements.
  • Own frontend delivery for features and roadmap projects from technical planning through testing and release.
  • Create technical specifications and delivery plans for roadmap initiatives.
  • Contribute to engineering processes including estimation, requirements definition, retrospectives, and technical planning.
  • Identify and lead technical initiatives such as technical debt reduction, performance improvements, or new system adoption.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience planning, building, and releasing frontend applications using web technologies.
  • Strong experience building web applications with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
  • Experience working as a full-stack engineer preferred.
  • Experience with Node.js preferred.
  • Experience working in a large codebase preferred.
  • Experience building or maintaining an internal UI library preferred.
  • Strong communication and project management skills across teams and functional areas.
  • Ability to mentor engineers and explain React, TypeScript, application architecture, and deployment practices.
  • Ability to balance delivery speed, technical quality, maintainability, and customer value.
