Description

  • Own and improve NetSuite order-to-cash workflows spanning customer data, sales orders, invoicing, payments, credits, refunds, reconciliation, and close support.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and extend NetSuite using SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, transaction forms, saved searches, SuiteAnalytics, and invoice templates.
  • Design and support observable, recoverable, reconciled integrations and data flows using APIs, webhooks, iPaaS, workflow, and scripting tools.
  • Lead investigations into financial-system incidents and data-quality issues, identify root causes, and reduce recurring manual work.
  • Lead requirements discovery and technical design with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and RevOps stakeholders.
  • Support billing, payment, tax, and reconciliation workflows while escalating accounting and tax-policy decisions appropriately.
  • Own testing, release readiness, user-acceptance evidence, documentation, monitoring, and operational runbooks.
  • Deliver low-risk AI-assisted analysis, testing, automation, and agent improvements while maintaining approvals, human review, and financial controls.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in finance systems, business systems, SaaS operations, or integration engineering.
  • Hands-on NetSuite experience and strong knowledge of operational finance and order-to-cash processes.
  • Experience independently owning complex workflows end to end.
  • Production experience designing and supporting APIs, webhooks, integrations, or workflow automation.
  • Knowledge of invoices, payments, refunds, reconciliation, revenue dates, multi-currency considerations, and downstream system impacts.
  • Experience with indirect-tax processes and tax-system integrations such as Vertex or a comparable tax engine.
  • Methodical approach to testing, exception handling, documentation, and operational support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with finance and non-finance stakeholders, plus sound technical and control-related judgment.
  • Experience with CRM, billing, payments, collections, tax, procurement, or other finance-adjacent systems is helpful.
  • SQL, SuiteQL, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript experience, and exposure to subscription, SaaS, or multi-entity environments, are helpful.
