Description

  • Manage day-to-day finance and operations tasks across multiple jurisdictions and escalate complex cross-entity issues when needed.
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, bank reconciliations, ledgers, journals, and spreadsheets for multiple entities.
  • Record cash transactions and expense claims and route approval requests in line with global expense policy.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities in coordination with local accountants and the US finance team.
  • Assist with payroll administration across EMEA and APAC entities and coordinate with local payroll providers or HR platforms.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and multi-currency reconciliations across the Azul entity group.
  • Support local statutory compliance activities, including VAT, corporate tax, and statutory accounts filings.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for local in-country teams and coordinate with third-party finance, legal, and payroll providers.
  • Support the CFO/COO with meeting coordination, entity reporting packs, and ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Assist with the onboarding and operational setup of new subsidiary entities, including bank accounts, accounting systems, and provider setup.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance and accounting role, ideally in an international or multi-entity organization.
  • Experience working across multiple currencies and jurisdictions; EMEA and/or APAC experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems such as NetSuite, Xero, or equivalent, including working across multiple system instances.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, ledgers, and journals with strong attention to detail in payments, records, and reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with third-party providers such as accountants, payroll bureaus, and legal advisors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple entities and time zones.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Accounting or financial qualification at part-qualified level or above, such as AAT Level 3+, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or an international equivalent.
  • Highly adaptable, proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Additional language skills relevant to EMEA or APAC jurisdictions are advantageous but not required.
