Description

  • Serve as the point of contact and subject matter expert for reviews of Azul order forms, customer order-form term requests, and commercial quotes across direct and channel sales.
  • Define, manage, and enforce Azul’s deal approval matrix and policies.
  • Troubleshoot deal issues and escalate them to management as appropriate.
  • Partner with Finance and Legal to identify, review, and resolve revenue recognition matters for non-standard deal structures.
  • Review and support negotiation of Azul’s subscription agreements with cross-functional teams.
  • Train, advise, and assist the sales team on deal processes, policies, pricing, quoting, and onboarding best practices.
  • Prepare and escalate approval requests for non-standard commercial terms outside the standard approval matrix.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Azul’s subscription business model, services, products, and recommended contract structures.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc analysis of pricing and discounting practices.
  • Define business processes and own system processes related to deal configuration, pricing, and quoting.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Sales Operations, or order management.
  • Specific experience leading a Deal Desk function.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supporting sales at multiple levels and working with Sales, executives (C-level), and customers.
  • Demonstrated experience driving non-standard contracts to closure.
  • Must have experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Must have experience with quoting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-oriented.
  • Ability to work flexibly and supportively in a fast-moving, changing environment.
  • Self-starter who can take a leadership role in building a complete and comprehensive Deal Desk function.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in resolving difficult issues.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-department resources to execute complex sales strategies and deal structures.
  • BA/BS or equivalent preferred.

  • Base salary range of $190,000 to $225,000 per year.
