Description

  • Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients to sell Azul Platform Core and Azul Platform Prime.
  • Prospect and work closely with Lead Development Reps to generate new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline that is at least 3 times quota.
  • Consistently close business on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Win competitive deals in collaboration with the local Sales Engineer.
  • Own a quota-carrying, individual-contributor sales territory for Japan.
  • Support growth of Azul’s enterprise customer base in the Japan region.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of proven experience selling enterprise applications or DevOps solutions in Japan.
  • Experience selling both entry-level deals of $50K and seven-figure deals.
  • Demonstrated history of consistently overachieving and strong earnings performance.
  • Experience with open source and the Java community is a plus.
  • Experience with middleware, big data platforms such as Cassandra and Hadoop, or search technologies such as SOLR and Elastic is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a part-time, remote role.
  • Experience in APAC or Japan regional sales is relevant for this role.
