Description

  • Serve as a client-facing member of the Software Solutions Delivery Team.
  • Collaborate with networking and software professionals to deliver Axon technology to small and mid-market, T1200, and Major clients.
  • Analyze IT system architectures to scope technical projects and recommend system improvements.
  • Manage technical projects remotely and at client sites.
  • Communicate project progress with client technical and non-technical leadership.
  • Partner with account management to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Identify integration opportunities between agency systems and Axon products.
  • Recommend deployment plans for integrations that support agency outcomes.
  • Capture requirements, assess feasibility, and document technical capabilities for integrations.
  • Work with integrations leadership, developers, and DevOps to build, test, deploy, and automate integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience analyzing and developing technical systems and software solutions.
  • Expert networking knowledge, including LAN/WAN, security, IP Video, and Video Management Systems.
  • Expert-level understanding of Linux frameworks, including containerization platforms such as Docker.
  • Advanced understanding of cloud technologies, software development packages, and data management tools.
  • Advanced experience with IT business processes such as Architecture Review Boards and IT Security Reviews.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with API structures and systems integration, including REST and SOAP.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, Python, Java, and cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
  • Demonstrated system-level understanding of enterprise software systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of technical proficiency.
  • Project management experience and/or certifications such as PMI are a plus.
  • Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain CJIS clearance.
  • Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information.
  • Willingness to work remotely with 30% travel and be within commutable distance of a hub location in Scottsdale, Seattle, Boston, Denver, or Atlanta.
