Description

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies, including forecasting, budgeting, and new business development.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the regional sales team to achieve targets and improve performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, retailers, distributors, and other channel partners.
  • Analyze sales data, competitor activity, and market trends, and share regular insights with senior management.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Supply Chain teams to support execution and promotional activities.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor coverage, product visibility, pricing, and competitive activity.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, trade fairs, customer forums, events, and exhibitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Veterinary Sciences, Animal Nutrition, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7–10 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in an RSM leadership role in the pet food industry.
  • Strong understanding of pet food distribution, customer behavior, and retail dynamics in India.
  • Existing relationships within the pet care industry are an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a multi-state team, and travel extensively within the region.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Must be able to regularly commute to the office when requested.
  • Must be able to write and communicate in English and submit reports in a timely manner.
