Description

Develop and execute regional sales strategies, including forecasting, budgeting, and new business development.
Lead, coach, and manage the regional sales team to achieve targets and improve performance.
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, retailers, distributors, and other channel partners.
Analyze sales data, competitor activity, and market trends, and share regular insights with senior management.
Coordinate with Marketing and Supply Chain teams to support execution and promotional activities.
Conduct regular market visits to monitor coverage, product visibility, pricing, and competitive activity.
Represent the brand at industry events, trade fairs, customer forums, events, and exhibitions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, Veterinary Sciences, Animal Nutrition, or a related field; MBA preferred.
7–10 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in an RSM leadership role in the pet food industry.
Strong understanding of pet food distribution, customer behavior, and retail dynamics in India.
Existing relationships within the pet care industry are an advantage.
Ability to work independently, manage a multi-state team, and travel extensively within the region.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and data analytics platforms.
Must be able to regularly commute to the office when requested.
Must be able to write and communicate in English and submit reports in a timely manner.
