Description

  • Oversee the synthesis of market, competitor, and audience intelligence into insights, implications, and narratives that support decision-making.
  • Anticipate market shifts, competitive dynamics, and changes in customer behavior to evolve brand strategy.
  • Champion the voice of the customer by consolidating market research and insights into strategy that reflects unmet needs and motivations.
  • Develop brand strategy foundations including brand positioning, messaging strategy, and competitive strategy.
  • Partner with engagement strategy to align creative and activation outputs with the broader brand strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative, Account, Scientific, and Engagement teams to ensure seamless strategy integration.
  • Lead strategic planning discussions and collaboration sessions with internal teams and clients.
  • Develop and deliver compelling client presentations and sell through strategic ideas and recommendations.
  • Use data, insights, and rationale to inform and defend strategic recommendations to clients and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising agency environment.
  • Relevant category experience in patient pharmaceutical marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic planning discussions and collaboration sessions.
  • Strong synthesis skills and analytical rigor.
  • Experience bringing new ideas forward and effectively selling strategic recommendations with supporting data and research.
  • Experience developing and delivering high-quality client presentations.
  • PowerPoint and/or Keynote power user.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, facts, and recommendations.
