Description

  • Process the end-to-end accounts receivable workflow, including accurate and timely invoicing for new business, expansions, contract changes, auto-renewals, multi-year agreements, and overages.
  • Execute customer-focused collections efforts to improve payment timeliness, maintain customer relationships, and meet cash collection targets using NetSuite and Tesorio.
  • Apply and post incoming payments across ACH, wire, credit card, and Stripe transactions, and resolve unapplied cash, chargebacks, and short-pays.
  • Issue credit and debit memos and manage customer credit monitoring, including holds and credit limits.
  • Analyze aging reports, AR trends, collections performance, and key metrics to generate insights that improve cash flow and reduce risk.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including billing finalization, account reconciliations, and AR balance accuracy.
  • Use NetSuite and SuiteBilling to run billing operations, troubleshoot issues, support enhancements, and improve processes.
  • Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, billing support, and documentation for internal and external audits, including SOX-related requests.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Account Managers, and Sales Operations to resolve billing discrepancies and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Use AI tools and automation to streamline AR workflows, accelerate collections, and improve forecasting in a remote-first environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a related role.
  • Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP and SuiteBilling is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach to collections.
  • High level of independence, self-motivation, and comfort working in a fully remote environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Tesorio, Gmail, and Stripe is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and subscription billing is preferred.
  • Comfort adopting AI and automation tools to improve efficiency.
  • Must be able to pass a federal, state, and county background check.
  • Must complete a local in-person verification.
  • Cannot be sponsored for a work visa at this time.
