Description

  • Lead client discovery sessions to understand business drivers, data use cases, and platform constraints.
  • Assess current-state data architecture maturity across ingestion, integration, storage, quality, metadata, lineage, security, and governance.
  • Design end-to-end Azure data platform solutions across Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, ADLS, and related services.
  • Define data integration and orchestration patterns for batch, streaming, and CDC workloads.
  • Develop data modeling, semantic modeling, and BI enablement approaches.
  • Design security, governance, platform operations, and data quality considerations for the solution.
  • Shape AI/ML and GenAI enablement patterns, including RAG-ready pipelines and governed access.
  • Create Statements of Work, proposals, platform estimates, and technical solution narratives.
  • Partner with Microsoft field teams on co-sell pursuits, workshops, demonstrations, and funding opportunities.
  • Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams and contribute reusable patterns, templates, and reference architectures.

Requirements

  • Deep experience designing Azure Data Platform architectures, including ADLS, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, and Databricks.
  • Experience with ingestion, integration, transformation, orchestration, batch, streaming, and CDC patterns.
  • Experience with data modeling approaches such as dimensional modeling, Data Vault, and domain-aligned models.
  • Strong understanding of governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, security, monitoring, and cost controls.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML and Generative AI as consumers of the data platform.
  • Proven ability to design scalable, secure, production-grade data architectures.
  • Strong experience in pre-sales solutioning, including discovery, qualification, and deal shaping.
  • Ability to create proposals, SOWs, and cost estimates for complex Data & AI engagements.
  • Experience working in Microsoft co-sell environments.
  • Preferred certifications include AZ-305, DP-203, Microsoft Fabric/DP-600, AI-102, and Azure AI Foundry or GenAI-related certifications.
