Description

  • Own the full organic search roadmap, including keyword architecture, AEO content structure, and technical SEO requirements.
  • Build and maintain a living roadmap that connects the current organic baseline to consistent pipeline contribution.
  • Track organic traffic, keyword movement, and conversion data daily and adjust strategy based on performance.
  • Own targets for organic-sourced MQLs, pipeline value, and influenced revenue, with reporting tied to business outcomes.
  • Develop keyword strategy across target verticals and product pillars based on buyer stage, search intent, and conversion potential.
  • Create AEO/GEO strategy so AssetWatch appears in AI-generated answers across Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other answer surfaces.
  • Define technical SEO specifications for the Webmaster, including Core Web Vitals, schema, crawl/indexing health, internal linking, and JavaScript rendering.
  • Run ongoing technical audits, prioritize issues by pipeline impact, and brief implementation fixes.
  • Map keywords to full-funnel content and produce detailed briefs for the Content Manager.
  • Review content performance to identify what is ranking, converting, updating, or consolidating.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an in-house or hybrid SEO role at a B2B SaaS, industrial tech, or manufacturing-adjacent company.
  • Demonstrated focus on performance data, including daily use of Search Console, rankings, and organic conversion metrics.
  • Proven ability to connect search performance to pipeline and closed revenue.
  • Deep technical SEO fluency, including schema markup, Core Web Vitals, crawl budget, log file analysis, and JavaScript rendering issues.
  • Documented keyword research results expressed in business terms such as pipeline influenced, demo requests generated, and organic CAC vs. paid.
  • Familiarity with AEO/GEO and how AI search is changing B2B discovery and vendor shortlisting.
  • Strong analytical skills with Google Search Console, SEMrush or Ahrefs, GA4, and Salesforce or HubSpot attribution.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or IIoT markets is preferred.
  • Experience briefing and managing content writers to SEO standards that drive pipeline is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CMS, Salesforce, and multi-touch attribution models is preferred.
  • Experience building search from scratch in a market-creation or category-definition phase is preferred.
