Description

Develop cloud application features across React, AWS API Gateway, Lambda/ECS, and database services.
Deliver technical solutions and feature improvements to production with senior engineering guidance.
Create technical design documents, implementation plans, migration plans, and architecture decision records.
Support production systems through monitoring, alerting, incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
Support code deployment and continuous integration.
Build high-quality software through automated testing and peer code reviews.
Optimize existing features and improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency.
Improve SDLC processes through tooling, automation, engineering standards, and shared technical patterns.
Collaborate across teams to maintain clear API, event, and data contracts.
Use and validate AI-assisted development tools while ensuring security, quality, maintainability, and engineering compliance.

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience building production React web applications with TypeScript and relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server.
Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, including API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, CloudWatch, and Datadog.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of secure software development, including authorization, secrets management, least-privilege access, dependency risk, and secure cloud development.
Hands-on experience with agentic or AI-assisted development tools and the ability to review, test, and validate generated code.
Experience with browser compatibility, mobile-friendly standards, WCAG accessibility, and applicable EU accessibility requirements.
Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, or similar issue-tracking and source-control tools.
Ability to work autonomously on moderately complex tasks, prioritize effectively, and manage ambiguity.
Strong collaboration, communication, organization, accountability, and customer-focused problem-solving skills.
Experience with Python, UX, or additional AWS tools is preferred.

US base salary of $120,000–$155,000, plus equity and benefits.
