Description

  • Develop cloud application features across React, AWS API Gateway, Lambda/ECS, and database services.
  • Deliver technical solutions and feature improvements to production with senior engineering guidance.
  • Create technical design documents, implementation plans, migration plans, and architecture decision records.
  • Support production systems through monitoring, alerting, incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
  • Support code deployment and continuous integration.
  • Build high-quality software through automated testing and peer code reviews.
  • Optimize existing features and improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency.
  • Improve SDLC processes through tooling, automation, engineering standards, and shared technical patterns.
  • Collaborate across teams to maintain clear API, event, and data contracts.
  • Use and validate AI-assisted development tools while ensuring security, quality, maintainability, and engineering compliance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience building production React web applications with TypeScript and relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server.
  • Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, including API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, CloudWatch, and Datadog.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of secure software development, including authorization, secrets management, least-privilege access, dependency risk, and secure cloud development.
  • Hands-on experience with agentic or AI-assisted development tools and the ability to review, test, and validate generated code.
  • Experience with browser compatibility, mobile-friendly standards, WCAG accessibility, and applicable EU accessibility requirements.
  • Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, or similar issue-tracking and source-control tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously on moderately complex tasks, prioritize effectively, and manage ambiguity.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, organization, accountability, and customer-focused problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Python, UX, or additional AWS tools is preferred.

  • US base salary of $120,000–$155,000, plus equity and benefits.
