Description

  • Install, test, and service AssetWatch condition-based monitoring solutions at client sites according to defined specifications.
  • Work in confined industrial environments while following PPE and safety requirements.
  • Travel locally and regionally up to 70% of the time, including overnight and air travel, with occasional weekends and off-hours work.
  • Develop strong knowledge of company products and adapt them to different customer environments.
  • Provide on-site technical support to industrial and manufacturing customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and repair product installations when communication issues arise.
  • Communicate and maintain accurate installation and field service records.
  • Manage service tools and inventory and maintain accountability for assigned company assets.
  • Support the product development team by evaluating and testing existing and new products.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while coordinating effectively with customers, field teams, and leadership.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in the field service industry is desired.
  • Experience using hand tools, air tools, and large specialized tools specific to the job or project.
  • General knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • General knowledge of industrial electronic systems, including enclosures, cabinets, chassis, electrical connectors, cabling, and mounting hardware.
  • Familiarity with industrial networking equipment and protocols.
  • Familiarity with vibration analysis and environmental testing, including vibration and shock, is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance, commissioning new systems, and repairing associated equipment is preferred but not required.
  • OSHA 10 certification is required; OSHA 30 is preferred and may be provided after hiring.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in confined industrial environments and wear required PPE, including protective glasses, gloves, clothing, and footwear.
