Description

  • Provide subject matter expertise on FAR overhaul policy, principles-based acquisition, and FAC competencies.
  • Draft and update non-regulatory guidance such as the FAR Companion and Category Management Buying Guide.
  • Support development of the Experiential Learning Framework and recommend interventions to address cultural adoption barriers.
  • Review workforce-readiness learning assets for alignment with the FAR overhaul.
  • Incorporate new Strategic Acquisition Guidance content into existing materials.
  • Collaborate with OFPP, FAI, and agency stakeholders to validate guidance and framework content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 12+ years of federal acquisition or contracting experience, including direct exposure to FAR-based procurement.
  • Deep knowledge of the FAR overhaul and principles-based acquisition concepts.
  • Experience developing acquisition guidance, policy, or training content for federal audiences.
  • FAC-C or DAWIA Level III certification, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience with OFPP, FAI, or GSA acquisition policy initiatives (preferred).
  • Advanced degree in public policy, business, or a related field (preferred).
