Description

  • Design, build, and maintain programmatic compute infrastructure on AWS, including Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, Lambda, and EC2.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine platform architecture for scalability, observability, reliability, and performance.
  • Build core infrastructure, internal tooling, and software development processes.
  • Work with machine learning engineers to optimize training and inference workflows for efficiency and cost.
  • Contribute to platform engineering initiatives ranging from one-off solutions to long-term systems.
  • Contribute to cloud infrastructure security tools and services.
  • Develop self-service capabilities and automated infrastructure operations to improve developer experience, security, and productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with AI scientists, ML engineers, and software developers on infrastructure needs at scale.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing containerized infrastructure at scale with a strong security mindset.
  • 3+ years of experience building services and tools using Python.
  • 2+ years of experience building infrastructure automation solutions with Infrastructure-as-Code, such as Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Experience with AWS storage services, including S3, EFS, and FSx.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated integrity and careful data governance when working with sensitive or confidential data.
  • Experience with infrastructure observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog (preferred).
  • Experience supporting ML/AI workloads, including GPU instance management, training cluster optimization, and batch inference pipelines (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies at scale (preferred).
  • Experience with secrets management and cloud security tooling such as AWS IAM, Vault, and KMS (preferred).
  • Contributions to internal developer tooling or platform libraries used by cross-functional teams (preferred).
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States or Canada without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
