Description

  • Own meaningful areas of the cloud platform and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
  • Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes Operators and platform services.
  • Develop and maintain cloud automation, self-healing, and incident response capabilities.
  • Create and refine playbooks, runbooks, and alerting to improve operational response.
  • Maintain and improve deployment pipelines and GitOps workflows.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.
  • Extend Infrastructure as Code and manage platform lifecycle needs in production.
  • Improve developer experience and platform capabilities for internal product teams.
  • Work with AI-assisted development tools as part of the daily engineering workflow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/experience/training.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong programming skills in Go, Java, or similar languages.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab and GitOps tools such as FluxCD or Argo CD.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider, such as AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Crossplane.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (preferred).
  • Comfort with AI-augmented development tools such as Cursor (preferred).
  • Kubernetes, cloud, or programming certifications or equivalent experience are valued (preferred).
