Description

  • Design, build, and productionize machine learning and agentic AI functionality.
  • Partner with product engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into Arkestro’s product.
  • Shape AI/ML architecture, systems, and the evolving technology stack.
  • Contribute to dbt transformations and data pipelines supporting AI/ML systems.
  • Own evaluation sets, ground truth, and automated evaluation processes for led projects.
  • Build and maintain production tooling with attention to latency, cost, reliability, and error handling.
  • Establish safety, reliability, responsible-AI practices, and production-readiness standards.
  • Advise engineers on AI/ML best practices and influence technical direction.
  • Communicate AI functionality and technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Engage with customers or customer-facing teams to explain AI-driven features.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in data science, machine learning engineering, or a related quantitative or engineering field, including production ML/AI delivery.
  • Strong software engineering skills, particularly in Python.
  • Hands-on experience building and shipping ML models or AI/agentic functionality in production.
  • Experience creating or curating evaluation sets and ground truth for ML or LLM systems.
  • Experience with MLOps tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and data warehouses such as Snowflake.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and their practical production application.
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD.
  • Ability to lead technical work independently and influence direction without formal authority.
  • Experience with production LLM or agentic features, dbt, Docker, or Kubernetes is preferred; procurement, supply chain, enterprise software, startup, or mentoring experience is also valued.
