Description

  • Support a federal client as a key member of a collaborative development team.
  • Build and enhance web applications using React, HTML, CSS, and APIs.
  • Develop responsive interfaces that meet accessibility compliance requirements.
  • Use accessibility testing tools, including screen readers, to validate application accessibility.
  • Work within a Keycloak-based identity and access management project.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in an Agile environment with technical staff and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain software documentation, including version description documents and user manuals.
  • Debug issues, address compatibility problems, and respond to requests for software enhancements.
  • Work within CI/CD environments and use code repository technologies.
  • Handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience using React.
  • Experience with React 18 or newer.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, and responsive design.
  • Strong knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 accessibility requirements.
  • Experience using accessibility testing tools such as JAWS screen reader.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in CI/CD environments.
  • Experience with code repository technologies such as Git.
  • Experience debugging and resolving cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Ability to work with technical staff to develop new web applications and support user issues.
  • Ability to produce software documentation such as version description documents and user manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Experience developing with Keycloak or Java-based open-source software, preferred.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles, preferred.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Ant, or Maven, preferred.
  • Experience with container technologies like Docker, preferred.
  • Exposure to AWS or other cloud technologies, preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, preferred.
  • Experience supporting the federal government, preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States full time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination.
  • Sponsorship is not available.
