Description

Provide expert technical support for the client application.
Develop and support application enhancements, accessibility, integrations, optimization, and maintenance.
Ensure application availability, performance, and correct operation.
Work within a sprint-based Agile development cycle.
Use AWS, Python backend services, and TypeScript front-end components.
Support scalable data solutions and application integrations.
Handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with federal safeguarding and compliance requirements.
Occasionally travel for project needs, client meetings, collaboration events, or training, with travel expected to be below 10%.

Requirements

At least 5 years of backend development experience.
Bachelor’s degree, or 3 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience prototyping and deploying backend web applications using modern software.
Experience with web programming languages such as Python or Ruby and frameworks such as Django or Rails.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
Proficiency with scalable search technologies and large-scale data storage.
Experience with version control systems and Agile team environments.
Ability to write developer-friendly documentation and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
U.S. citizenship or full-time U.S. work authorization; sponsorship is unavailable, and the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust eligibility is required.
