Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions primarily on Microsoft Azure, with GCP as an alternative.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.
  • Operate Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, planning, and architecture discussions.

Requirements

  • Mid-to-senior commercial experience as a Python backend developer.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including App Services, Functions, AKS, and Storage; GCP experience may be an alternative.
  • Experience with FastAPI and/or Django.
  • Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and scalable microservice architectures.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
  • Production proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, data modeling, cloud architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, Git, collaborative workflows, and backend/cloud security practices.
  • Fluent English communication and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred: experience with Databricks, Golang, React, Infrastructure as Code tools, or event-driven systems such as Kafka and Azure Service Bus.
