Description

  • Own the Salesforce build from detailed technical design through deployment, including data model, automation, UI, security, and packaging.
  • Design and maintain the org’s data model, schema changes, sharing model, and automation architecture as the solution grows.
  • Build production-grade Salesforce solutions using Flows, Apex, LWC, permission sets, and managed-package configuration.
  • Define and protect API and data contracts between Salesforce and backend integration services, including identity, CRM sync, e-signature, and commerce components.
  • Coordinate changes with adjacent non-Salesforce systems to keep integrations backward-compatible and avoid delivery surprises.
  • Enforce Salesforce engineering standards, including test coverage, FLS/sharing correctness, governor-limit awareness, and CLI-based deployments.
  • Translate Salesforce platform constraints into clear language for PMs and client stakeholders and keep cross-functional teams aligned.
  • Lead and mentor Salesforce and adjacent engineers through technical reviews, coaching, and hands-on support.
  • Surface dependencies, scope creep, and technical debt early and propose solutions to unblock delivery.

Requirements

  • Significant experience delivering complex Salesforce Platform projects in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Core CRM.
  • Hands-on expertise with Apex, including triggers, services, asynchronous processing, and test classes.
  • Strong experience with Flows, including record-triggered flows and screen flows.
  • Experience with LWC for custom UI development.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and security, including custom objects, Record Types, permission sets, permission-set groups, FLS, and sharing.
  • Experience with deployment and ALM using SFDX source format, metadata/CLI deployment (`sf`), sandboxes, branching strategy, and CI-based deploys.
  • Experience with integration surfaces such as REST/Apex callouts, Connected Apps, OAuth 2.0, M2M client credentials, and Platform Events.
  • Fluency with API-based integrations and cloud or microservice backends; current stack includes Node/NestJS on AWS and an SFCC B2B commerce component.
  • Comfort running structured build work and live operational/support work in parallel.
  • Fluent English, written and verbal.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, or Architect-track certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development and high-coverage delivery preferred.
  • Deep AWS, Terraform, or backend build experience preferred.
  • DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce or similar managed-package e-signature configuration experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Node.js/NestJS, AWS ECS Fargate, Terraform, Okta/SSO, and Jenkins/Bitbucket CI/CD preferred.
  • Exposure to CMS-driven frontends such as Next.js and Contentful preferred.
