Description

  • Define and maintain the QA strategy for high-performance full-stack applications and microservices.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive QA architecture that supports scalable services and complex system workflows.
  • Prioritise bugs and test coverage based on risk, failure impact, and delivery speed.
  • Organise test cases, execution, and reporting using a test case management system such as TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, PractiTest, or qTest.
  • Design, implement, and scale automated test suites using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, and Appium.
  • Design and execute integration, API, and end-to-end tests for applications built with TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, and PySpark.
  • Collaborate with developers to improve unit test coverage and overall code quality.
  • Verify the reliability of deployments across AWS services and Cloudflare edge environments.
  • Work with Data Engineers to validate event data accuracy and real-time reporting dashboards.
  • Partner with developers and data scientists to deliver a seamless end-user experience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or engineering, or 7+ years for a Sr. QA Engineer.
  • Strong grasp of QA architecture and modern testing methodologies.
  • Deep expertise in TypeScript and strong architectural understanding of React and Node.js environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and both SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
  • Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with Next.js (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Vitest, Jest, or other unit and integration test solutions (preferred).
  • Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar end-to-end testing tools (preferred).
  • Understanding of machine learning, predictive AI, and data pipeline validation (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with PySpark (preferred).
  • Prior experience in e-commerce or Ad Tech ecosystems, including media buying, DSPs, or conversion optimisation (preferred).
