Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated UI and end-to-end test suites using Playwright and TypeScript across React and Angular applications.
  • Write automated API tests for C# and ASP.NET Core REST endpoints using TypeScript HTTP clients or C# test frameworks.
  • Build and maintain integration tests that validate service-to-service interactions and data flows across the application stack.
  • Design repeatable test data setup and teardown strategies to support reliable parallel test execution.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate test scaffolding and generation across UI, API, and integration layers.
  • Review AI-generated tests for coverage completeness, assertion quality, and false confidence before committing.
  • Support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines by ensuring automated tests run as mandatory quality gates on every build.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps and test evidence.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, test planning, risk assessment, and acceptance criteria definition with the Technical Product Owner.
  • Partner with offshore QE engineers to scope test cases, provide review feedback, and maintain shared quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience writing code-based test suites.
  • Proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript for UI and end-to-end test automation.
  • Experience writing automated API tests in code using TypeScript HTTP clients, C# / xUnit / NUnit, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of C# / .NET applications and ability to read C# code to understand expected behavior.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server or Azure SQL for data validation within automated tests.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines as quality gates.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT for test scaffolding, test data generation, and defect analysis.
  • Understanding of quality engineering in an agentic delivery model where AI agents contribute to code generation.
  • Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a self-motivated, ownership-oriented, and technically precise approach.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Experience working with distributed or offshore QA teams is preferred.
