Description

  • Architect, build, and optimize high-performance production LLM systems.
  • Lead platform modernization, code refactoring, and strategic technology changes.
  • Use AI coding tools to generate, review, and evaluate production code.
  • Drive architecture, technical planning, acceptance criteria, prototyping, and delivery for complex AI applications.
  • Improve system availability, latency, scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Establish engineering best practices, conduct code reviews, and build automation frameworks.
  • Coach and mentor engineers while driving technical growth across the team.
  • Influence technical decisions across teams and publish engineering documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical or analytical discipline; equivalent experience is not accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • 10+ years of relevant software development experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with a relevant master’s degree.
  • Deep hands-on experience designing and operating production LLM systems.
  • Expertise in code generation, agents, retrieval, structured generation, tool use, model routing, evaluation, and observability.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants and evaluating AI-generated code in production environments.
  • Strong foundations in distributed systems, APIs, security, and reliability.
  • Experience developing and maintaining high-volume, mission-critical production services.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions beyond a single team or project.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills for technical architectures.
  • Experience with compilers, program analysis, formal specifications, legacy modernization, Salesforce, or ServiceNow preferred.
