Description

  • Lead the full biosignal algorithm development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, data curation and labeling, development, validation, production, maintenance, and documentation.
  • Select and implement appropriate statistical, signal-processing, machine learning, or deep learning methods for each problem.
  • Develop new model architectures and improve internal machine learning tools to support rapid experimentation and reusable code.
  • Establish best practices for tested, documented, user-friendly algorithm implementations, including unit testing, CI, and non-regression testing.
  • Present technical results to stakeholders and support client engagement and algorithm adoption.
  • Collaborate on client-facing projects to assess and shape the impact of deployed and future algorithms.
  • Work with data scientists, neuroscientists, engineers, and clinicians on brain and biosignal analytics.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning, especially in health sciences or regulated fields.
  • Demonstrated experience bringing algorithms into production.
  • Experience with digital signal processing and statistics, including selecting non-ML approaches when appropriate.
  • Proficiency with PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks for model training, development, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of modern deep learning techniques, including Transformers, Vision Transformers, large-scale modeling, and large-model training.
  • Experience with software and ML engineering practices such as testing, version control, code reviews, documentation, Docker, CI/CD, and experiment tracking.
  • Experience with biosignals, medical imaging, or large time-series datasets, or strong interest in developing domain expertise.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, continuous feedback, and self-directed problem-solving skills.
  • Experience participating in formal validation, quality and regulatory documentation, production deployment, and client collaboration.
