Description

  • Discover, construct, validate, and iterate trading factors using market, fundamental, and on-chain data.
  • Design and optimize machine learning and deep learning models for accurate, stable factor predictions while controlling overfitting and strategy decay.
  • Lead strategy design, backtesting, live deployment validation, portfolio construction, risk control, and execution optimization.
  • Own strategy P&L and risk performance across the research and deployment lifecycle.
  • Build and improve end-to-end quantitative trading pipelines spanning data ingestion, factor computation, prediction, backtesting, and live execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams on data connectivity, low-latency execution, and production deployment.
  • Adapt AI-driven trading approaches to equities, futures, cryptocurrency, and other on-chain markets.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quantitative trading strategy research and development, including factor mining, prediction, backtesting, and live deployment.
  • Strong understanding of strategy P&L, risk management, alpha decay, trading costs, liquidity, and execution slippage.
  • Proficiency in Python and practical experience applying machine learning or deep learning to quantitative finance and large-scale financial time-series data.
  • Familiarity with trading mechanisms and data characteristics in at least one traditional or cryptocurrency market.
  • Experience building a complete quantitative strategy pipeline or research platform from data through live trading.
  • Strong research skills and a results-oriented approach in fast-iteration environments.
  • Experience managing live trading capital at scale or generating sustained alpha preferred.
  • Cross-market experience across traditional finance and on-chain markets, including DeFi, CEX, or DEX, preferred.
  • Experience with high-frequency trading, market making, arbitrage, large language models, or reinforcement learning preferred.
