Description

  • Own technical engagement from validated customer requirements through solution design, deployment, and documentation.
  • Lead whiteboard sessions, technical requirements workshops, proofs of concept, and customer evaluations.
  • Design, configure, and deliver AppGate ZTNA deployment projects and related solutions.
  • Support customer-facing presentations, demonstrations, Q&A sessions, trade shows, and deployment meetings.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, Support, R&D, Sales, and strategic partners on implementation.
  • Serve as the primary technical escalation resource for post-sale delivery and break/fix issues.
  • Work with Product and R&D teams to define and prioritize feature enhancements based on customer needs.
  • Develop technical solutions for customer use cases and provide implementation support for new services and upgrades.
  • Support Red/Purple/Blue team validation activities and help verify security value against competing solutions.
  • Lead testing of new features and provide feedback to ensure readiness for production use.

Requirements

  • 5-15 years of experience as a pre-sales Solution Architect in cybersecurity or networking.
  • 5-15 years of experience delivering software or network solutions in cybersecurity or networking.
  • Strong communication skills with security, network, and IT operations stakeholders.
  • Experience with Zero Trust Network concepts and Software Defined Perimeter (preferred).
  • Experience with Single Packet Authorization (preferred).
  • Familiarity with identity platforms, endpoint security tools, compliance, UEBA, SIEM, SOAR, and ITSM.
  • Architect-level experience with public cloud services including AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and IBM Cloud.
  • Architect-level experience with complex network integrations and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix Xen, and Red Hat OpenStack.
  • Experience with identity and access integrations using AD, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, LDAP, SAML, RADIUS, and MFA technologies.
  • Experience building REST API integrations and working with JavaScript, JSON, and API-first architectures.
  • Experience designing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience implementing Configuration as Code and GitOps workflows.
  • Experience integrating Zero Trust deployments into CI/CD pipelines aligned with DevSecOps.
  • Current CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent networking certification or experience.
  • Current valid certification from a major public cloud provider, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
  • Experience with network security technologies including firewalls, NAC, VPNs, logging/SYSLOG, SD-WAN, WAN, and Layer 3/4 networking.
  • Experience with routing, encryption, segmentation, ACLs, certificate management, and authentication protocols.
  • Experience with compliance engineering for SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or PCI-DSS.
