Description

  • Set the IT roadmap across enterprise technology, support, security and automation.
  • Lead IT support, endpoint management and major incident response.
  • Own the health, configuration, integration and governance of core enterprise platforms, including Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Workday, Atlassian, AWS, Databricks and Anthropic.
  • Provide technical leadership for Microsoft 365 administration, identity, access and security.
  • Lead IT’s SOC 2 and ISO 27001 responsibilities, including controls, audit readiness, evidence and remediation.
  • Maintain security, access and endpoint controls and proactively identify technology and operational risks.
  • Establish practical governance for AI use across IT, balancing adoption with security, privacy and compliance.
  • Deploy AI, automation, agents and self-service to improve IT operations, onboarding, provisioning, help desk triage and vendor management.
  • Manage technology vendors, including selection, negotiation, performance, renewals, licence rationalisation and cost optimisation.
  • Build and develop an IT team across support, enterprise technology and automation, partnering with Engineering, Product and Finance on priorities and investments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of IT experience, including significant leadership experience.
  • Proven experience leading IT support and service delivery in a fast-paced technology, software or services environment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 and enterprise IT administration.
  • Technical expertise across enterprise SaaS, cloud infrastructure, endpoints, identity and integrations.
  • Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and IT security governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply AI and automation to solve, redesign or eliminate real IT processes.
  • Commercial acumen in vendor management, negotiation and technology-spend management.
  • Ability to diagnose technical problems, challenge decisions and operate effectively in ambiguity.
  • Executive presence and ability to build credibility with senior leaders, technical teams and vendors.
  • Deep AWS experience, cloud cost management, administration of Salesforce, Workday or Atlassian, familiarity with Databricks or Anthropic, and DevOps/SRE exposure are preferred.
