Description

  • Define the vision and roadmap for access governance across the rep org, including permissions, roles, admin, manager controls, territory, and assignment.
  • Build a standard permission model that replaces fragmented flags and team-level toggles with one clear enforcement path.
  • Own the admin experience for Users & Teams, roles, access, provisioning, settings, and core configuration workflows.
  • Design the manager experience that gives frontline leaders control over their teams’ books, territories, access, and operating model.
  • Develop territory and assignment capabilities that support enterprise CRM models, including multi-territory logic and parity with Salesforce and equivalent systems.
  • Establish governance, scoping, and least-privilege controls that make Apollo ready for complex enterprise org structures.
  • Set instrumentation, standards, and a product quality bar that allow the controls layer to serve as a platform for the rest of Apollo.
  • Identify enterprise readiness levers and drive improvements that reduce deal friction, increase seat count, and influence ARR outcomes.
  • Work closely across product, technical, and commercial stakeholders to turn an ambiguous, underbuilt area into a durable system.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience with ownership from strategy through launch, adoption, iteration, and measurement.
  • Heavy experience with upmarket GTM tooling, such as Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot, Gong, Clari, ZoomInfo, or similar products.
  • Experience serving mid-market and enterprise customers, not only SMBs.
  • Experience with platform, admin, permissions, governance, RBAC, permission models, admin consoles, provisioning, SSO/SCIM, multi-tenant scoping, or enterprise-readiness products.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to turn fragmented surfaces into one standard that other teams adopt.
  • A track record of driving business outcomes, not just shipping features.
  • High agency in ambiguous, high-stakes problem spaces.
  • Strong product taste and the ability to make complex systems feel simple.
  • Comfort making tradeoffs across teams and saying no to one-off requests.
  • Hands-on comfort with data, prototyping, and AI tools to validate direction quickly.
  • Bonus: owned identity, access, governance, or admin products at enterprise scale.
  • Bonus: helped a company move upmarket by shipping platform capabilities needed by larger customers.
  • Bonus: deep knowledge of GTM systems, including territory, assignment, book of business, CRM permissions, manager controls, and RevOps workflows.
  • Bonus: experience with Salesforce territory/permission models or equivalent CRM administration systems.
  • Bonus: founder or builder experience, even if the company did not work out.
  • Bonus: experience working closely with RevOps, Sales Ops, IT admins, security teams, or enterprise buyers.

Benefits

  • Tier 1 salary range of $199,400–$249,300 USD for San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle.
  • Tier 2 salary range of $173,400–$216,700 USD for all other US locations.
