Description

  • Develop and execute the company-wide marketing strategy aligned with growth goals and brand identity.
  • Lead brand, creative, audience growth, eCommerce, and paid media functions.
  • Oversee digital marketing strategies across SEO, paid media, and lifecycle marketing to drive acquisition, retention, and long-term value.
  • Partner with executive leaders to design and execute high-impact marketing and education strategies.
  • Work closely with finance leadership to pace marketing spend and prioritize the most impactful investments.
  • Translate company goals into actionable marketing plans with clear metrics, timelines, and ownership.
  • Establish planning, prioritization, and execution processes that create speed and clarity across the marketing team.
  • Manage marketing budget, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to improve efficiency and ROI.
  • Provide executive leadership, coaching, hiring, and performance management for a multi-functional marketing team.
  • Design and evolve the marketing org structure to ensure the right capabilities are in-house and agency spend is intentional.

Requirements

  • A genuine motorsports enthusiast with a strong understanding of Apex’s customer community.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role with direct accountability for revenue, cost, and profitability.
  • 5+ years of experience making marketing resource allocation decisions, prioritizing investments, and reallocating spend based on performance.
  • 7+ years of experience owning or directly influencing eCommerce performance across acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • 7+ years of experience building, leading, or restructuring marketing teams in environments needing improved performance and accountability.
  • 7+ years of experience overseeing brand development and creative direction for a discerning customer base.
  • Experience with marketing P&L responsibility is required.
  • Strong strategic thinking with awareness of market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to inform marketing decisions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and goals.

  • Annual compensation of $180,000-$230,000 depending on location and experience.
  • Eligibility for a short-term incentive plan after 90 days of employment.
