Description

  • Design, develop, and implement effective training programs for maritime products and associated equipment.
  • Create timely and innovative learning programs aligned with learner needs and organizational goals.
  • Generate training products from technical and engineering data sets to support warfighter training across multiple proficiency levels.
  • Shape the training function with the Product Lifecycle Lead and integrate it with customer Fundamental Inputs to Capability.
  • Recruit and manage a team of educators and trainers to support AUV and maritime product training.
  • Lead development of learning outcomes and curricula across e-learning, instructor-led, simulation-based, practical, and blended formats.
  • Identify, scope, and deliver simulated and physical training environments that support learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to keep training content accurate and relevant.
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness and continuously improve materials and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a content library of training materials and support trainers and facilitators in delivery.

Requirements

  • Applicable training qualifications in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of maritime domain experience, including technical training and curriculum development.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, easy-to-understand learning materials.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing engaging learning experiences.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.
  • Preferred: knowledge of maritime systems, including propulsion, electrical, and auxiliary systems, plus subsea/ocean engineering operational procedures and AUV launch and recovery systems.
  • Preferred: proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Moodle and Aquilla.
