Description

  • Lead technicians in the production and delivery of units scheduled through the work center.
  • Work alongside the Production Manager to coordinate team output and priorities.
  • Build a positive, collaborative team culture that supports product knowledge, skills development, and cross-training.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and repair during manufacturing operations.
  • Prioritize work activities to meet on-time delivery goals and manage multiple competing deadlines.
  • Provide training and support new operator onboarding when needed.
  • Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities and recommend process improvements.
  • Complete daily transactions in digital production systems such as MES, NetSuite, and JIRA.
  • Perform additional tasks to support business objectives and develop team member skills.
  • Cover short-term absences within the team when production demand requires it.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a production-oriented environment.
  • Full understanding of the product life cycle from NPI to scaled production and LEAN manufacturing methods.
  • Experience interpreting technical documentation such as mechanical drawings, work instructions, equipment schematics, and electrical diagrams.
  • Extremely reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • 2+ years of operational leadership experience leading a production team, preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP and MES systems, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 standards and OSHA laws, preferred.
  • Experience working with high-voltage electrical components up to 400VDc, preferred.
  • Experience performing functional checkouts and tests and diagnosing issues discovered during these processes, preferred.
  • Experience in sub-sea robotics or AUV industries, preferred.
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined, preferred.
