Description

  • Define and execute the Software Platform roadmap, de-risking dependencies and aligning teams on what ships and when.
  • Lead broad, cross-functional programs with high ownership across Software Platform, Business Lines, and company partners.
  • Manage, unblock, and accelerate cross-team projects and larger cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product leads to scope, staff, prioritize, and deliver capabilities tied to company milestones.
  • Establish and champion Software Platform program management standards, tools, processes, and mechanisms.
  • Track program progress and communicate status, dependencies, blockers, issues, and obstacles to stakeholders.
  • Stand up and maintain Software Platform KPIs that provide leadership with visibility into progress, health, and bottlenecks.
  • Understand technical implementation at the architectural level and propose alternatives when needed.
  • Use performance indicators and program data to inform organizational investments and decisions.

Requirements

  • 12-15+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in a fast-paced software development environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, trade-offs, and risks.
  • Strong experience in software project management with familiarity across multiple methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Understanding of Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to support assumptions and recommendations.
  • Experience rolling out broad organizational process changes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience building programs for software deliverables from the ground up (preferred).
  • Ability to work in organizations with minimal structure and minimal direction (preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GIAC-PEN, Prosci, SAFe, or PMP (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline (preferred).
