Description

  • Write and maintain core libraries and services for collaborative robotic teams, including motion deconfliction and contingency management for fast-mover air vehicles.
  • Own major feature development and rollout for large, complex product features from concept through deployment.
  • Develop and validate terminal-phase autonomy and test plans using live surrogates.
  • Work closely with vehicle hardware teams and operational subject matter experts to define requirements and iterate on final designs.
  • Collaborate with specialist teams such as Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering to solve autonomy problems.
  • Support product development for systems such as Fury and Barracuda and the Lattice for Mission Autonomy platform.

Requirements

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in motion planning, perception, localization, mapping, controls, or related system performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, set technical direction, and manage full project lifecycles from concept to deployment.
  • Deep understanding of integrating multiple sensor systems for perception and decision-making.
  • Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
  • Experience working with and testing electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
  • Python, Rust, and/or Go experience preferred.
  • Experience programming for embedded and physical devices preferred.
  • Experience with multi-agent UAV coordination preferred.
  • Experience with complex frame transformation problems, such as target localization or multi-degree-of-freedom robotic arms, preferred.
