Description

  • Conduct research on pretraining world-action foundation models using vision, physics, and ego-action modalities.
  • Explore topics including vision-physics modality association, feed-forward Gaussian splatting, world foundation models, human data incorporation, language modalities, spatial reasoning, and deformable object modeling and simulation.
  • Support research aimed at both robot action and simulation world generation.
  • Work closely with research scientists and engineers on high-quality publications for top-tier conferences.
  • Contribute research that can be deployed into autonomous and robotic systems such as self-driving vehicles, mining and construction machines, humanoid robots, and dexterous hands.
  • Learn from and contribute to best practices in the autonomy and robotics industries within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Current PhD or MSc studies in machine learning, computer vision and graphics, or robotics.
  • Strong research background in relevant topics.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on projects.
  • Passion for next-generation, scalable autonomy and robotics.
  • Interest in research for autonomous driving and robotic generalists.
  • Willingness to work in an in-office environment, primarily from an Applied Intuition office 5 days a week, with occasional remote flexibility.
  • Open to applying even if experience does not match every qualification, as the company encourages candidates to apply anyway.
