Description

  • Define, establish, and lead the network infrastructure integration engineering practice and technical strategy.
  • Own all network infrastructure work for acquisition integrations from discovery and due diligence through migration execution and hypercare.
  • Conduct technical assessments of target companies’ network infrastructure, systems, and operational capabilities.
  • Develop and present network architecture strategies and integration roadmaps to executives, founders, and technical teams.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure network architectures for integrated environments.
  • Develop and execute detailed network migration plans and manage technical dependencies and challenges.
  • Provide post-migration hypercare support to stabilize integrated network systems.
  • Document, benchmark, and continuously improve repeatable integration processes through post-mortems and lessons learned.
  • Identify tooling gaps and either build tools or scope them for others to deliver.
  • Collaborate with Security and Client Engineering teams to ensure secure and seamless integration outcomes.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of progressive experience in Network Engineering and/or IT Infrastructure roles in complex enterprise environments.
  • Ability to operate independently across program management, network architecture, and hands-on engineering work.
  • Experience defining and building network engineering practices and repeatable processes.
  • Experience spanning the full network engineering lifecycle, from discovery and architecture to execution and hypercare.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts to executives, founders, and engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of modern cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience with enterprise networking technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Spanning Tree, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, IPsec, SSL, F5, and HAProxy.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, segmentation, traffic management, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Nornir.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to travel for remote deployments and assessments as required.
  • Preferred: experience with network automation frameworks and DevOps/CI/CD methodologies applied to network operations.
  • Preferred: experience with data center network design and operations.
  • Preferred: experience in defense technology or highly regulated industries with a strong network security focus.
