Description

  • Administer and maintain client network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
  • Manage on-premises and cloud server environments using Windows Server and virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments, including user administration and group policy management.
  • Implement and maintain firewall and VPN solutions to secure remote access and protect client data.
  • Monitor and manage security controls, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus tools, vulnerability scans, and patching.
  • Perform Level 1 and Level 2 support for system, network, and application issues using remote management tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues across diverse client environments, from desktop problems to complex network incidents.
  • Administer VMware environments and support cloud-based infrastructure in Azure.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver IT solutions and maintain accurate ticketing and documentation records.
  • Proactively monitor system performance and provide reports on uptime, performance, and security incidents.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a System and Network Administrator.
  • 5+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
  • Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and data center technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and firewall technologies.
  • Deep understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware.
  • Experience with remote access tools, monitoring platforms, and ticketing systems.
  • Certification in a relevant area such as Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware.
  • Preferred certifications include MCSA, CCNA, or VCP.
