Description

  • Design, implement, and operate high-performance GPU networking fabrics for distributed AI workloads.
  • Architect large-scale RoCE and Ethernet fabrics optimized for distributed training and inference.
  • Design fabric topologies including leaf-spine, fat-tree, rail, and multi-plane architectures.
  • Implement and maintain datacenter networking components such as routing stacks, overlays, bridges, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networks.
  • Own north-south connectivity, security infrastructure, and inter-datacenter transport across global deployments.
  • Design private interconnects, dark fiber ring architectures, and high-capacity WAN connectivity between regions.
  • Lead engineering delivery from design and lab validation through production deployment.
  • Drive automation for provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and long-term reliability improvements for major network events.
  • Collaborate with platform, compute, storage, observability, operations, and datacenter teams on architecture and execution.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience designing and operating large-scale datacenter networks.
  • Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ECMP, and EVPN/VXLAN.
  • Proven experience operating high-speed Ethernet networks in production environments.
  • Experience operating NVIDIA / Mellanox networking platforms.
  • Strong automation skills using Python and/or Bash.
  • Experience designing and operating networking fabrics for large-scale GPU clusters and distributed AI workloads.
  • Deep understanding of NCCL communication patterns and GPU collective communication behaviors.
  • Experience tuning RoCE fabrics, RDMA transport, PFC, and ECN for congestion management.
  • Ability to debug cross-layer issues spanning hardware, firmware, kernel networking, and distributed application layers.
  • Experience owning both architecture and direct implementation in lean or fast-scaling environments is strongly preferred.
