Description

  • Proactively identify passive and active technical candidates using advanced sourcing techniques, market research, and social media platforms.
  • Initiate and develop meaningful relationships with prospective talent through tailored messaging and personalized communication.
  • Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for critical technical roles to ensure a steady flow of high-quality candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers, recruiters, and fellow sourcers to understand technical role requirements and align sourcing strategies with hiring goals.
  • Analyze sourcing metrics and candidate data to refine and optimize sourcing strategies and workflows.
  • Use applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other sourcing tools to find and track candidates.
  • Collaborate on candidate qualification and handoff to recruiters to support the overall hiring process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years in technical sourcing or recruiting with a proven track record of hiring for technical roles.
  • Understanding of modern technology stacks, software development processes, and technical skill sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in using data-driven approaches to evaluate sourcing effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other sourcing tools.
  • Experience with Greenhouse, Gem, and various AI sourcing tools (preferred).
  • Experience in startups, tech, or related fields (e.g., AAV, UAS, AUV, weapons programs) is preferred.
  • Highly self-sufficient, proactive, resilient, creative problem solver with strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
  • Low-ego, high-curiosity mindset and strong sense of ownership (preferred).
  • This role is open as a 6-month contract (availability/term).
