Description

  • Develop and maintain a detailed project execution plan covering feature development, testing and validation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Establish clear software objectives and deliverables that align with program needs.
  • Oversee the development, execution, and delivery of Battlespace Awareness software to meet technical, functional, and business requirements.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of battle management algorithms and software interfaces to support effective integration with the broader C2 system.
  • Work with subject matter experts to incorporate relevant innovations into the project plan.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and project reports.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee software release planning and execution to ensure smooth deployment and quality standards are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Assess, allocate, and monitor personnel, software, and hardware resources to keep the project supported and on track.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and keep the risk management plan updated.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure integration requirements are met and program priorities are supported.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Extensive project management experience, preferably in software development for advanced algorithms.
  • Demonstrable understanding of optimization, applied probability, and AI/ML technology.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.
  • Active U.S. TS clearance and the ability to maintain clearance.
  • Experience with software development in the domain of optimization and estimation is strongly relevant.
