Description

  • Develop tools and capabilities that extend Lattice OS to address customer problems in cyber asset command and control, offensive cyber mission planning and execution, networking, and remote asset management.
  • Collaborate with customers, product designers, and engineering teams to shape and build new software products and applications.
  • Build, test, deploy, and demonstrate mission-critical code in tight feedback loops with end users.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time to support customer events and deploy capabilities in real-world scenarios.
  • Contribute to existing software services and develop reusable components across Anduril product lines.
  • Work directly with customers to deploy software and support mission outcomes.
  • Make pragmatic engineering tradeoffs while solving networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and related problems.
  • Help set technical direction for teams and contribute to technical leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • 7+ years of experience working with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Experience building software solutions that involve significant data processing and analysis.
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases.
  • Experience making impactful technical architectural decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Ability to engage in engineering discussions with peers.
  • Currently possesses and can maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Preferred: experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world environments.
  • Preferred: feature and algorithm development with understanding of behavior trees.
  • Preferred: experience with distributed communication networks and message standards.
  • Preferred: knowledge of military systems and operational tactics.
  • Preferred: experience mentoring junior engineers.
  • Preferred: experience architecting complex systems.
