Description

  • Own and evolve the SailPoint and Auth0 identity platforms, including workflows, integrations, and governance controls.
  • Design and build backend services and automation frameworks that extend identity platform capabilities.
  • Develop AI-assisted workflows that turn Jira tickets and other inputs into safe, reviewable IAM changes.
  • Build human-in-the-loop automation for provisioning, role modeling, and privileged access management.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Buildkite.
  • Improve test coverage, code quality, and release automation across the identity platform.
  • Integrate with AWS services and other enterprise systems through secure, scalable APIs.
  • Use AI development tools and modern workflows to accelerate secure automation development.
  • Partner with Security, IT, and Engineering on the long-term identity architecture at Affirm.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
  • Strong production experience in Python or a similar backend language.
  • Experience designing APIs, automation frameworks, and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to pass a backend software engineering interview and contribute production-quality code regularly.
  • Experience with cloud-native development, preferably AWS, is a plus.
  • Experience with IAM or IGA platforms such as SailPoint, or CIAM platforms such as Auth0, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-augmented development tools such as Cursor is a plus.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform is a plus.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, SOX, ISO, or PCI is preferred.
  • Must be based in Spain and eligible for remote work from Spain; visa sponsorship is available.
