Description

  • Design, build, test, and document core software components as part of the engineering team.
  • Support internal business units by creating shared engineering services, tools, and processes that help teams succeed.
  • Own projects end to end by building relationships with stakeholders and translating their needs into delivered solutions.
  • Work directly with internal customer-facing teams to make their day-to-day work easier and more effective.
  • Partner with product engineering to extract and use data that supports business decisions.
  • Introduce new developer tooling to improve engineering productivity.
  • Improve existing tooling and workflows, including CI/CD systems.
  • Use production data to surface potential issues and support observability efforts.
  • Create tooling for development and staging environments.
  • Participate in incident response, field customer support escalations, and help maintain running services.

Requirements

  • Experience with CI/CD, secrets management, infrastructure as code, and/or observability.
  • Experience with developer tooling or developer experience.
  • Experience with distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as IP addressing and routing.
  • Experience with Go is a plus.
  • Familiarity with one or more SQL databases is a plus.
  • Ability to give and process constructive feedback and work independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of a startup.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working asynchronously in a fully remote environment.

  • Base salary of $181,000 to $226,000 USD.
