Description

  • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure across cloud platforms and on-premises VMware environments.
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance and reliability of critical infrastructure systems.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support application integration and deployment.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Implement backups, disaster recovery planning, and data protection best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues and outages promptly.
  • Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies to improve infrastructure capabilities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering with both on-premises and cloud technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with automation and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Proficiency in Linux configuration and administration, including optimization, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancing.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with server and storage technologies such as Pure Storage or VAST Data.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and VDI solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
  • Datacenter or colo experience is preferred.
  • GPU/CPU HPC experience is a plus.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or CloudWatch is preferred.
