Description

  • Write and maintain core libraries and services for collaborative robotic systems, including motion deconfliction and contingency management.
  • Own major feature development and rollout for large, complex product features.
  • Develop autonomy-related capabilities for air vehicles, including terminal-phase autonomy.
  • Create and execute test plans using live surrogates.
  • Work closely with vehicle hardware teams to align technical requirements during product development.
  • Collaborate with operational subject matter experts such as fighter pilots and UAV operators to refine designs.
  • Support software for vehicle control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry.
  • Contribute to the foundational vehicle software stack used across early concept simulation, first flight, live operations, and fleet management.

Requirements

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with C++ or Rust in a Linux development environment.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and code optimization.
  • Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
  • Experience working with and testing electrical and mechanical systems.
  • MS or PhD preferred.
  • Experience in motion planning, perception, localization, mapping, controls, or related system performance metrics preferred.
  • Python, Rust, and/or Go experience preferred.
  • Experience programming for embedded and physical devices preferred.
  • Experience with multi-agent coordination of UAVs preferred.
  • Experience with complex frame transformation problems such as target localization or multi-degree-of-freedom robotic arms preferred.
