Description

  • Own the development and maturation of security features for Anduril’s products.
  • Author and maintain security documentation such as System Security Plans, Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments, and compliance evidence.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to meet and exceed industry-standard security goals.
  • Work with manufacturing and operations teams to develop secure handling and operational processes.
  • Remediate weaknesses found in designs, implementations, integrations, and processes.
  • Integrate and mature product security tooling across Anduril’s products.
  • Conduct security assessments including architecture reviews, source code analysis, configuration auditing, and adversarial testing.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages such as C/C++, Golang, Rust, or Python.
  • Experience assessing the security of firmware, applications, networks, IoT, or embedded systems.
  • Experience developing features for and improving the security of firmware, applications, networks, or embedded systems.
  • Experience building, testing, and delivering production-ready systems, especially for embedded and/or Linux systems.
  • Experience with structured threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Experience securing autonomous systems and understanding their unique threat model.
  • Experience in military or defense domains (land, air, sea) is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with anti-tamper and reverse engineering hardware and software mechanisms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance to at least SC level.
  • Must be a UK citizen.
  • Preferred: Experience with the UK Ministry of Defence Cyber Security Model, including UK Government Security Classifications, DefStans (05-138 minimum), Cyber Secure by Design guidance, DIPNs, and ISNs.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with aviation cybersecurity standards such as DO-326A/ED-202A.
  • Preferred: Experience with SORA or CAA Type Certification cyber requirements.
  • Preferred: Experience engaging with certification bodies such as the CAA or MAA/DE&S.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with RF Emanation Protection, including TEMPEST.
  • Preferred: Experience with network security devices, including Inter-Domain Gateways and Cross Domain Solutions.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with security architectures of embedded, aerospace, or cyber-physical systems.
  • Preferred: Experience with programmable logic devices and their development tools.
  • Preferred: Ideally a sole UK national with no other citizenships.
